After Kholi double ton and Jayant ton , Spinners put India in driving seat

Day 4: India started the day where they left yesterday; both Virat Kohli and Jayant Yadav played brilliantly. The two built the Indian innings step by step asKohli played exclusive shots and entertained the Sunday crowd, Jayant was happy to play second role as he was playing silently on the other end. There was no stopping the duo as Virat Kohli registered his third double hundred in the calendar year. In the process of registering his third double ton of the season, Kohli also became the first batsman to score three doubles in three consecutive series. He also bettered the top score by an Indian captain in Tests as passed Mahender Singh Dhoni previous best of 224.  

Meanwhile Jayant Yadav also completed his first Test century and first by any no.9 for India. The duo put on 241 runs stand for the 8^th wicket (second highest) before Jayant Yadav got out on 104 to elevate the score;He missed and Bairstow completed an easy stumping balling of Rashid. Soon after that Kohli also perished on 235 trying to clear the off side and finds deep extra cover caught by Anderson on the bowling of Wokes end of an epic innings.  Bhuvneshwar Kumar also got out pacing the innings on 9 runs and India got all out on 631 and managed whopping lead of 231 runs. Adil Rashid picked 4/192 for England.

In response England got worst start as the Keaton Jennings the century man in the previous innings got out on duck this time adjudged lbw on Bhuvneshwar Kumar ball. Jennings did discussed with his captain of taking review or not and finally decided not to take and made a long walk to pavilion.  Alastair Cook and Joe Root looked to rebuild, but Jadeja lbw Cook on 18. While Root took the attack to the opposition, Jadeja sent Moeen Ali back for a duck and England reduced to 49/3 and in a spot of bother.  Then Bairstow joined Root and the two stitched a 92-run partnership for the fourth wicket that too on good scoring rate. But just when they looked to take the game away, Jayant dismissed Root (77) LBW. After that both Ben Stokes 18 and Jake Ball 2 got trapped in the Indian spinner’s balls. England were diminished at 182/6 on day 4 stumps with Bairstow on the crease on 50 not out.
