Shikhar Dhawan scored his 13th ODI hundred and become the first Indian to Score hundred in the 100th ODI match which helped India to post 289/7 against South Africa in the fourth one-day internationals of the six-match series at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Among South African bowlers, Lungi Ngidi (2/52) and Kagiso Rabada (2/58) took two wickets each.
In the course, Dhawan made 109 runs and added 158 runs for the second wicket with Kohli; Virat Kohli was dismissed for only the second time in the series after scoring 75. Kohli has made 393 runs in four innings in helping India take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the six-match series.
Dhawan bettered the record of former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly, who made 97 against the South Africa in his 100th ODI in the 1999 World Cup, to get to the milestone.
Last year David Warner becomes the first Australian batsman to make a century in his 100th ODI. The previous highest score for Australia batsmen in this milestone match was 81 by Geoff Marsh, against West Indies in 1991.
