India touched new heights under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. He made his captaincy in 2007 with the ICC Twenty20 World Cup, and in his very first tournament, India won the title. After this he made India the champion in the ICC World Cup in 2011. Then in 2013, Team India captured the Champions Trophy in his leadership. Along with this, he became the only captain of the world to win these three titles.

How Dhoni become wicket-keeper
Dhoni used to study in DAV Shyamali School of Ranchi and in the beginning, Dhoni was not serious about cricket. He was interested more in badminton and football.- used to be goalkeepers of the school’s football team. They have played badminton and football till the district and club level.- Once the wicket-keeper of school’s cricket team was not available, the coach called Dhoni to be a wicketkeeper of the school cricket team.Dhoni’s wicketkeeping attracted many people and the coach asked him to become a wicketkeeper in cricket. From the 10th class, Dhoni started meditating on Cricketer.
Ticket collector’s job
In 1998, Dhoni was part of Bihar Under-19 Cricket team. Their team lost against Punjab but their performance was appreciated.- After this Dhoni was included in the Bihar Ranji team.During this time, he got a ticket collector’s job in the railway and posted on the Kharagpur railway station.- Dhoni helped the family by doing this job from 2001 to 2003.- After good performance in 2003 and 2004, Dhoni was inducted into the India-A team and after that India team.
