Cricket’s most popular rivalry, will began on Wednesday, November 20, 2018 with the T20 International series. The live telecast of the first T20I between India and Australia (IND v AUS) will start at 1:20 PM India have advantage over Australian side as their side struggling for a long time inside and outside the field. Indian team will aim to win the three match T20 series with their purpose to secure their claim for the Test series starting in Adelaide on December 6.
The Indian team has won seven T20 series since November 2017. Indian’s last T20 series defeat by the hand of West Indies in the July 2017. On the last tour of Australia, India had white washed Australians by 3-0, hence the confidence of the players will be high. India have won 24 of their 34 matches and lost nine. It includes victories in 10 of the 13 series in the period.
Captain Virat Kohli has returned after resting in the three T20 series against the West Indies. The name of Rohit Sharma, who won a 3-0 win over West Indies in the T20 series, is also included in the players, who will advise Virat as a vice-captain.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a list of 12 players for the first match of the T-20 series against Australia. Team India, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik have all the three players for the match in Brisbane’s Gaba.

In the form vice-captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will be seen opening the innings. Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul can handle Virat Kohli’s responsibility with the middle order. The name of Krunal Pandya, who has a great debut against the West Indies, is also included in the possible 12 players. However, choosing one of Yuzvendra Chahal and Krunal Pandya for skipper Kohli can be a difficult challenge. It is now interesting to see who gets place in the playing XI.
On the other hand, Australia have been in worst of form struggling across formats, unable to survive with the continual changes in pursuit of stability in the team. They’ve lost series against England, Pakistan and South Africa, apart from a tri-series in Zimbabwe involving Pakistan.
The start of Australian summer was with loss to South Africa in the three-match ODI series and a lone T20I. It will be tough for Australia to challenge Indian team and series won’t be easy for them.
