The team India will take on West Indies in the 3rd ODI today at Pune. India won the first match of the series played in Guwahati, while the result of the second match in Visakhapatnam was being tie.
The Indian team (India vs West Indies) will come back strongly after the return of fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the third one-dayer (3rd ODI) against the West Indies.
Looking at the plight of bowling in the second match, the selectors have added Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar to the squad for the remaining three ODIs. Both of these bowlers are known for their exact line length and tight bowling in the game’s small format.
India had scored 321 against the West Indies in the second match, but the West Indies had also scored the same amount of runs by smashing Indian bowlers all over the park. Mohammed Shami has been dropped out of the team for the remaining three matches. With the return of Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar, it seems that Umesh Yadav also unlikely to get place in playing XI.
With just 16 ODIs to go for the ICC 2019 World Cup in England and Wales, India will also be hoping to get their middle order conundrum solved, specially the No.5, 6 and 7 spots.
West Indies Team is Full of confidence
The West Indies team will be confident after the performance of the last match, especially in batting. The way the S Hopes and Shimron Hetmayer batted in the last match, Captain Jason Holder would like both of them continue their form.
The West Indies cannot depend solely on these two player, Kieron Powell, Roewman Powell and Chanderpaul Hemraj also have to perform with bat. The team wants that experienced player Marlon Samuels also return to the form. The role of pair of Devendra Bishoo and Ashley Nurse will be important in bowling.
