Today 35 years old Indian Women star player Mithali Raj becomes first Indian to accumulate 2000 runs in T20Is format. She achieved the landmark after scoring a single off Oshadi Ranasinghe, she played 23-run innings against Sri Lanka women in Kuala Lumpur.
Mithali has now scored 2015 runs in 74 T20Is with the help of 14 half-centuries. She has an astonishing average of 38.01 with a highest score of 76 not out.

Indian team cricketer Mithali Raj is the world’s seventh female cricketer who has completed 2000 runs in T20 cricket. The three top places in this list are Carlote Edwards (2605), Stephanie Taylor (2582) and Suzie Bates (2515).
