India vs New Zealand: No place for Ashwin and Ravinder Jadeja in ODI team

Indian cricket team announced for three-match ODI series against New Zealand starting from 22 October 2017. This time also the name of two key players is missing from the 15 member squad. 

The deadly spin duo in the test matches Ravinder jadeja and Ravichandran ashwin once again not selected in the squad of Indian team for the ODI series against New Zealand. They were also not part of the team against Australia in 5 matches ODI series and 3 matches T20I. This might be the end for the duo in limited over games? Ashwin and Jadeja are currently playing the Ranji Trophy for their respective states.

Dinesh Karthik has been called in ODIs while KL Rahul left out of the squad. Karthik also made come back in T20I team versus Australia.Shikhar Dhawan, who pulled out of the five ODIs against Australia due to look after his ill wife, has been named in the squad.

Pace bowler Shardul Thakur, who made his international debut against Sri Lanka, has also made a return to the ODI squad.There was no place for Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav, both of whom played just the Bangalore ODI vs Australia.

Indian team has thrashed Australia in 5 match ODI series by 4-1 and regained number 1 spot in the ICC ODI Rankings.
