Bangladesh team started playing ODI cricket on 31 March 1986 against Pakistan. Bangladesh took 12 years to win their first ODI and it was against Kenya 17th May 1998. But since then Bangladesh has emerged as good side and giving tough competition to their opponents.
Bangladesh has surprised many big teams at the ICC World Cup stages. The first ever their biggest win came again Pakistan in ICC World Cup 1999. They defeated Pakistan by 62 runs in that game and after that they amazed India by defeating them in 2007 world cup and because of this India have to exit the World Cup in group stages only.
Indian team must play there natural game and with the positive frame of mind and not to be complacent against the minnows otherwise they know that Bangladesh be a dangerous team on a their day. As Bangladesh has shown in this tournament what they are capable of as they beat New Zealand by 5 wickets and entered in the first 50 over game semi final.
Here are the Bangladesh’s World Cup and other matches win’s against major teams.
