Twenty20 (T20) is considered batsman dominated game but bowlers created tricks to restricts the batsman from doing so. batsman have also dragged a few tricks that proved to be troublesome. Perhaps, one of those tricks is dot ball. Restricting the opposition from scoring runs is extremely important to build the pressure on batsman as dot ball can turn into wicket.
So, technique and cunning attitude of bowler to bluff batsman is really important in this shorter format in particular. As we all know T20 is format is batsman dominated format in which batsman have the upper hand.
But bowlers, who have time and again created acute pressure on opposition batsman by bowling sequences of dot balls can come on top over the batsman and tempt him to make a mistake which is quite possible. And in T20 sequence dot balls put so much pressure on batsman that his brain starts thinking what to do on next, he will either try to hit six or a four but it might turn into wicket because of rising pressure of dot balls.
