Suzie Bates now has thehighest T-20 international runs in both male and female cricket. Bates completed 3,000 runs in his 108th T20 International match. she has taken 105 innings of 108 matches to an average of 30.68 to 3,007 runs. She has scored a century and 20 half-centuries during this period.
31-year-old Suji scored just 11 runs against Ireland. His team won this match by 8 wickets. Ireland won the toss and bat first and scored 79 runs. The White Ferns achieved the target by losing two wickets. However, the New Zealand Women team was not able to reach the women’s World Twenty20 semi-finals. Australia and Team India had already reached the semi-finals from Group-B.
West Indies’ Stephanie Taylor is on second spot with most runs in Twenty20 international after Suzie Bates. Taylor scored 2,732 runs. Former England captain Charlotte Edwards is third in this list.
