Before this,Indian Stand in skipper Rohit Sharma has recorded another achievement in his name. He has scored only 35 balls in the T20 International Cricket Century. With this, he equaled the record of South Africa’s David Miller. Miller had scored a century on 35 against Bangladesh on October 29 this year only.
In the Holkar stadium in Indore, he scored 11 boundaries and eight sixes against Sri Lanka in his innings. Rohit Sharma equaled the record by setting the ball on the ball of Angelo Mathews. Rohit completed his first 50 runs in 23 balls. After this, hitman changed the gears and hit next 50 runs in 12 balls.
In the process 165-run were added for the opening wicket, the highest for India, with KL Rahul, who scored 89 off 49 balls.

Along with this, Rohit became the fastest Indian player to score the fastest century in T20 International. The fastest Indian batsman in the T20 International, KL Rahul, who had scored 46 balls in the Lord’s against the West Indies.
Rohit was finally dismissed by 118 runs. He hit 12 fours and 10 sixes in 46 balls. The record of fastest century in T20 cricket is Chris Gayle, who scored a century on 30 balls against Pune Warriors in the IPL by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
